What changed

Manufacturing (NabuMake)

A recipe says which stock items, and how much of each, make one product; flour, sugar and butter for a cake, say. "Make" with a quantity takes the materials off stock and adds the product, and each run is recorded.

A recipe and the latest production runs

Repairs (NabuRepair)

A repair card holds the customer, device, serial number and fault, and its status runs "Received", "In repair", "Ready", "Delivered". Parts come from stock, labour is added, and one invoice is raised. When the card turns "Ready", the customer gets one "your device is ready" text.

Repair cards with each device's status

Rentals (NabuRent)

Rent catalogue items by the day: a date range, a daily price and a deposit. The deposit has its own invoice. On return, late days are recorded and invoiced as a late fee. When every unit of an item is out, new bookings are refused.

Rentals, booked and returned

How to use it

  1. Manufacturing: under "Operations" open Manufacturing (NabuMake), build a recipe with the product and its materials, and press "Save the recipe". To produce, enter a quantity and press "Make".
  2. Repairs: in Repairs (NabuRepair) fill in a "New repair card", add parts and labour, move the status along, and press "Raise the invoice" at the end.
  3. Rentals: in Rentals (NabuRent) enter the item, quantity, dates, daily price and deposit, and press "Book it". Mark it returned when it comes back.

Good to know

  • All three are add-ons, for roles allowed to sell at the counter.
  • The "ready" text needs the business's SMS set up.

Editing a gateway brings its form into view

On Payment gateways, Edit moves the page to that gateway's form, rings it for a moment, and puts the cursor in the first field. On a phone the form used to open off screen.
